DIY SATIN TUBE TOP

Who's still at the beach? Lucky you! Really. This Summer, at stake with the renovation of our new house, we haven't had the opportunity to leave for a real vacay. I mean, being at home doing nothing all day is itself a vacay, but you know...the sand, the sea, etc...You got it. Hoping for a weekend away asap, I want to show you a project I made few days ago to spice up my August plans: a satin tube top that's already a favourite in my closet. Cause creativity never goes on holiday! // Chi è ancora in spiaggia? Fortunate voi! Davvero. Quest'Estate, con la ristrutturazione della casa nuova in ballo, non siamo riusciti a partire per una vera vacanza. Insomma, stare a casa tutto il giorno a fare niente è già di per sé vacanza, ma sapete...la sabbia, il mare, ecc...Ecco. Sperando in un weekend via il prima possibile, vi voglio mostrare ciò che ho realizzato pochi giorni fa per dare una botta di vita ai miei programmi d'Agosto: un top in raso, che è già un preferito nel mio armadio. Perché la creatività non va mai in vacanza!

TIE DYE SWIMSUIT INSPIRATION

I've never been a fan of tie dye, but I have to admit that I love it when it comes to swimwear. I don't know about you, but when I'm on holiday I feel waaay more relaxed, even talking about style: comfy clothes, natural fabrics and boho details are my faves. This is why I'm looking around for some tie dye bikini inspo and my personal DIY tutorial will come soon! Any ideas? // Non sono mai stata una fan del tie dye, ma devo ammettere che quando si tratta di costumi da bagno mi piace un sacco. Non so voi, ma in vacanza sono mooolto più rilassata anche in fatto di stile: abiti comodi, tessuti naturali, dettagli boho sono i miei preferiti. DIY PEARL EMBELLISHED JEANS

Few days ago I was cleaning out my closet and I found a pair of old jeans I did not even remember about (same feeling as when you find 10 € in pants pockets). Looking at them I decided that a little refresh was not only necessary but could also become a funny way to spend a rainy weekend afternoon. And so I did. I added some pearls as the season trend wants and they look so pretty now! // Qualche giorno fa stavo ripulendo il mio armadio e ho trovato un paio di vecchi jeans che nemmeno ricordavo di avere (stessa sensazione di quando trovi 10 € in tasca). Guardandoli ho pensato che un piccolo restauro non era solo necessario, ma poteva anche diventare un modo divertente di passare un piovoso pomeriggio in casa. E così ho fatto! Aggiungendo delle perle come il trend di stagione vuole, sono diventati decisamente più carini!

DIY BUCKLE NECK SWEATER

Back home after beautiful days away, I'm definitely not ready for coming back to work tomorrow (I mean...who could be?). Buuut today is holiday here in Italy, so I want to show you a quick and nice DIY I made some time ago, right for the middle season (read= when you don't know what to wear). Easy DIYs are my faves, cause they take few time, few tools, few pain but give soo much satisfaction and when it comes to fashion DIYs it's even better: you can make and show them off the same day, like you went shopping but actually layed on the couch all day. Aand, do I have to mention the money saving? For this Summer I made a kimono top but, because I'm a bit lazy these first holiday days, I opted for a no sew one.
